The Relic Aureole-1 Hanging Lamp comes from the second act of THESHAW's Future Vestige series. It consists of five mirrored stainless-steel vessels suspended in the air by a single slender steel cable. As it projects its warm light on surrounding walls that is reminiscent of an iris, light streams reflect off its cold body, converging into circles. Despite its striking silhouette, it possesses a powerful energy that is comforting and instils a quietness in those around it. This lamp not only renders a hushed atmosphere but also adds a sense of spatial hierarchy to any space. The Future Vestige series is a philosophical endeavour about freeing one's spirit.
